Born in Turkey, Beyza Akyüz graduated from German Studies. She worked as an editor and consultant for Turkish National Radio and Televisions. Since 2008, she is working as a scriptwriter for cartoons like “Küçük Hezarfen,” “Canım Kardeşim,” “Çomar-Tomar-Kömür”, “Çelebi ve Laklak.”
A member of International Storytelling Network, Beyza Akyüz is spinning fairy-tales to young and old alike in her performance called “Şifâhen Masallar”/”Tales in my voice” at various performance halls. She likes to tell various stories but mostly she tells her own fantastic stories.

An active traveler, she is sometimes left speechless, and like a dust in the wind, she is scattered into her inner universe. And upon her return, she finds sanctuary in her home on a hill in Çengelköy and writing new tales
