When I grew up I forgot all about the fairy tales, myths and stories of my childhood. A storytelling dinner brought them back to my mind in 2005. Early in 2008 another storytelling event infected me with the storytelling virus.

I received my basic storytelling education from 2008 – 2010 and started storytelling as a community storyteller in 2009.  I attended several workshops and supervision weekends held by Jana Raile, Noam Meiry (Folkwang Universität der Künste), Ashley Ramsden and others. I am influenced by Jana Raile, Germany, Annika Hoffmann, Germany and in a certain way by Rafik Schami and Duncan Williamson.

I held workshops about storytelling in classroom, storytelling in hospice care and the development of resilience by fairytales and storytelling. I founded and organized the “Märchentage Lüneburg” – a one week storytelling festival – in 2012 and 2014.

I am member of  “Verband der Erzählerinnen und Erzähler“, the society of professional storytellers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as some local storytelling societies.

Member of International Storytelling Network (RIC).
